FrogBall with a much needed win over UTA heading back on the road

TCU Baseball much in control of this game beating the Mavericks of UTA, 7-3.  Mason Bixby gets his first career start and the win through 2 scoreless innings.  Eight TCU pitchers combined for 17 strikeouts tonight to close out the homestand before heading on the road to Oklahoma State on Thursday.

Kurtis Byrne knocks it out of the park for his second straight game with a solo shot in the first inning, his 4th of the year.  Ryder Robinson followed that up the very next inning with a 2-run shot over the left field fence to make it 3-0.  That was his first career homerun.

Peyton Chatagnier drove in a run with a sac fly to make it 4-0 after 4 innings of play.

UTA scored 3 runs in the 6th but the Frogs answered with 3 more runs in the bottom of the 6th bringing the score to 7-3.

That score would stand and the #18 Frogs improve to 16-5.
