TCU opened the season with two night games before playing three straight at 11 a.m. and then another at 2:30 p.m.
The Horned Frogs have become early risers under coach Sonny Dykes, and they like it. That’s a remarkable coaching feat, keeping college kids from sleeping in.
They will have ample time to kill today, with a 7 p.m. kickoff against No. 17 Kansas State in a matchup of the final two unbeatens in Big 12 play.
A night game also gives fans time to get lathered up for a game that would leave TCU clearly in the driver’s seat for one of the two spots in the Big 12 championship game.
Everybody expected that, right?
That’s what 6-0 does for a team.
