FORT WORTH — A trifecta of TCU coaches went to the podium Wednesday to meet with the media, but football coach Sonny Dykes had the floor the longest.

It was National Signing Day, after all.

Although the big day is no longer all that big, Dykes had plenty to say about recruiting in general and the players the Horned Frogs officially welcomed to the program. He also talked about how the program will go forward with recruiting.

The goal is to sign 8-10 more players via the transfer portal, with much of the work likely coming after spring practices wrap up across the country. TCU could pluck a quarterback from the portal who would compete with Max Duggan and Chandler Morris to be the starter Sept. 2 at Colorado in the season opener.
