FORT WORTH — To all the TCU baseball fans who haven’t previously circled Jan. 29 on their calendars, here’s a friendly reminder to do so.
That’s the date of the First Pitch Party, which this year is taking place at River Ranch Stockyards. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., and a ticket includes a dinner buffet, access to a photo booth and, most importantly, two drink tickets.
Country songwriter and recording artist JT Hodges, a TCU alumnus and Fort Worth native, will be providing the tunes. Guests are encouraged to wear Cowboy Chic attire.
The night, though, is a dedicated to a celebration of the 2021 Horned Frogs, who won the Big 12 tournament as the No. 2 seed and hosted an NCAA regional at Lupton Stadium, as well as an introduction of the 2022 club, which is eighth in the Perfect Game preseason poll and No. 13 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll in the first season under coach Kirk Saarloos.
Purchase tickets here. TCU baseball alumni can contact director of baseball operations Meredith Montgomery (m.m.montgomery@tcu.edu) for special pricing.
