“I saw a lot of people in red and blue down lower than what they should have been,” former TCU head coach Gary Patterson said after TCU’s 41-38 loss to SMU in 2019.
The Frogs had lost to the Mustangs for just the second time in more than a decade and had done so as SMU fans infiltrated the season-ticket sections of Amon G. Carter stadium.
“So, I asked that question, ‘How they got there?’”
But fans, and Patterson, weren’t the only ones to notice.
