Cooper Powers just knew that TCU was the one for him.

“I’ve visited many schools, but I haven’t felt nearly as much love as I did from TCU,” Powers said Sunday. “All of those coaches were so fired up to see me, so fired up when I committed, and TCU feels like home. I have loved TCU my whole life and it is my second home.”

I was fortunate to catch up with Powers, an offensive lineman who plays tackle for the well-known De La Salle prep program in Concord, Calif.
