The Frogs were down 16-0 before they could breathe to the nations #1 team.  Shooting only 19% in the first half from the field, they also struggled from beyond the arch not being able to knock down any 3 pointers in the first half of play.  Frogs drop to 21-12 with the 60-45 loss to the Houston Cougars (29-3).

“Things didn’t make sense today,” mentioned TCU head coach, Jamie Dixon.  With the Frogs out-rebounding the Cougars 55-39 for the game and what could be a record, 30 offensive boards to 9.

Micah Peavy had 11 rebounds with Emanuel Miller, Chuck O’Bannon, Ernest Udeh Jr., and JaKobe Coles each bringing down 7 rebounds a piece.  Udeh brought down 5 of his 7, all on the offensive glass.

Peavy lead the team with 13 points and a double-double, while the next best Frog was Jameer Nelson Jr. with 9 points.

“Plain and simple, we just didn’t make shots,” commented Dixon.  Next up for the Frogs is March Madness.  The NCAA Selection Show is Sunday, March 17th at 5:00pm on CBS.
