The Championships at Wimbledon draw was announced on Friday and 4 Horned Frogs, headlined by Cam Norrie, in his 7th career appearance, will take on #67 Facundo Diaz Acosta from Argentina in the first round.  Fresh off an NCAA National Championship and a Rothesay Open title, Jake Fearnley opens up the first round against Alejandro Moro from Spain, ranked #189.

With a Fearnley opening round win, he would potentially face 24-time Grand Slam champion, Novak Djokovic.

In doubles, Fearnley and TCU teammate and Wimbledon roommate, Jack Pinnington will pair up and take on Brazilian’s Rafael Matos and Marcelo Melo.

Former Frog, Reese Stalder is on standby in the doubles draw, who reached the round of 16 in 2023.

Pinnington and Fearnley are two of three active players in program history to compete at Wimbledon and TCU is one of only four programs with multiple players competing in the Wimbledon singles main draw.

Frogs Today, hosted by TCU Football’s Caleb Fox caught up with Fearnley and Pinnington from London on Friday.  Singles starts on Monday and doubles on Wednesday.
