As is customary following Sunday home games at Lupton Stadium, TCU’s baseball team met with droves of small children who got to run the bases, collect autographs, and celebrate a Horned Frogs win.

The team, seated in the dugout, smiled and laughed with each other and the tiny TCU fans following their series-clinching 5-4 win over San Diego.

In the middle of it all is Tre Richardson, the Baylor Bear turned Horned Frog, with as much energy and enthusiasm as anyone else.

Richardson is on a six-game hitting streak, and is coming off a 6-for-10 weekend at the plate with a pair of runs scored and two RBIs. Richardson batted second in the lineup on Sunday after opening the season in the bottom third of the order.

His move up the batting order came just one day after Kirk Saarloos complimented Richardson for consistently providing the team with competitive at bats.
