Week 3 had no shortage of surprises across college football, as Kansas (KANSAS!) rolled to 3-0 with a shellacking of Houston, Appalachian State stole College GameDay and then stole the win from Troy, and Manti Te’o returned to Notre Dame and brought a little luck of the Irish with him as Marcus Freeman got his first win as the Fighting Irish’s coach.

For TCU, well, you can’t lose if you don’t play, and the Horned Frogs enjoyed sitting on the sidelines amid the chaos, fully focused on what could be the most emotional meeting of the Battle for the Iron Skillet in its illustrious history.
