Saturday will be a lot like running into your ex. You always know it’s a possibility, you do everything to avoid it, and yet, there are times where it is simply unavoidable.

TCU players and coaches have done and said everything right this week as they prepare for Texas. Coach Sonny Dykes closed practice, and the players shrugged off questions about their former coach while giving the well-coached line, “It’s just another game.”

But when the Frogs take the field at Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, Gary Patterson will be standing on the other sideline wearing burnt orange.
