The world of analytics has become an intrical part of college football, and few understand that as well as TCU graduate Parker Fleming.

He shares his knowledge at CFB Graphs website and through Purple Theory, a podcast that is now part of Frogs Today and the Roxo Media House portfolio.

Fleming and co-host Grant McGalliard, also a TCU graduate, will make their Frogs Today debut this week.

“We couldn’t be more excited to add Parker and Grant to our family,” Roxo Media House president JW Wilson said. “They will provide Frogs fans with insight on how analytics help teams make decisions and how the numbers run much deeper than traditional statistics. As former TCU students, Parker and Grant also know TCU and Fort Worth. It’s a great fit.”

Fleming is a data scientist and college football analyst who also serves an analyst for the BETUS College Football Show and has experience working with coaches and teams on game-planning and scouting.

McGalliard was a two-time recepient of the Dan Jenkins Scholarship, which is given to TCU students who excel in sports writing, and has written and edited for several outlets. He and Fleming created Purple Theory after meeting at the 2019 Big 12 Media Days.

The focus of the show is TCU football with a healthy dose of the Big 12, but it’s not all football talk. Fleming and McGalliard will mix in some healthy discourse on food, drink and country music.

“Grant and I are so excited to be joining Frogs Today,” Fleming said. “Our goal with the Purple Theory podcast has been to analyze TCU football from a diffferent perspective, using stats and narratives to test our assumptions and learn more about the game and the team.

“As we join Frogs Today, we’re exctied to collaborate and grow and continue to create insightful and engaging content about TCU football.”

Frogs Today has quickly become the go-to media outlet for TCU news and features, with daily video shows and written content. Frogs Today is part of the growing Roxo Media House, which is also home to the Rangers Today Baseball Podcast, FORTitude FW and Signal 51 Chronicles, among others.
