TCU women’s head basketball coach Raegan Pebley will step down at the end of the season, sources confirmed to Frogs Today on Monday.

Pebley met with TCU administrators earlier in the day, and held a team meeting early on Monday afternoon.

TCU has three games remaining in its season. The Frogs are currently 7-20 on the season, with a 1-14 record in Big 12 play.

Pebley guided the Frogs to four Women’s NIT appearances in her first five seasons.

The Frogs seemed to have momentum in 2019-2020, before the season was cut short by the COVID pandemic. The Frogs held 22-7 record and seemed destined for the NCAA Tournament before the remainder season was canceled.

Pebley’s struggled to adjust coming out of the pandemic, amassing only seven conference wins in the last three seasons.
