The 7-0 #5 ranked TCU Baseball team is one of 2 teams in the Top 10 that are undefeated; #8 Texas A&M is the only other team in the Top 10 that has a clean slate.  So what does that mean for head coach, Kirk Saarloos and his squad.  “You have a bunch of guys that know how to win, play together, and play for each other,” mentioned Saarloos.

The dugout is the best place to be to see the guys that are playing with the guys that aren’t playing and it shows on the field.

The Frogs have played 7 games in 10 days and over the next 7 days, they have 5 more including the Kubota College Baseball Classic at Globe Life Field in Arlington starting play on Friday.

Today pitcher, Zack Morris took to the mound starting for the second time this year and a rocky start to say the least, loading up that bases on no hits.  Morris had a strikeout and forced UCLA into a double play to end the inning giving up no runs.

The bottom of the 1st was all the Horned Frogs needed on the day as they went through the entire lineup and were ahead 5-0 which started with Peyton Chatagnier leading off the inning with a homer to left field.

Morris pitched the next 3 innings giving up 2 runs on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts.  TCU added 3 more runs before the 5-run 6th.

Karson Bowen on his second straight Sunday, had 5 more RBIs with a 2 run homer in the 6th.  Sam Myers went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and a run.  Another notable contributor was Logan Maxwell going 2 for 4, scoring 3 runs and batting in 1.

Caedmon Parker and Andrew Mosiello finished the game on only 18 and 16 pitches respectively which was critical in saving arms going into this 5 games, in 7 day stretch.  The game was over after the top of the 7th after the Frogs run-ruled the Bruins 13-3 outscoring them over the 3 games 23-9.

Kirk Saarloos, Karson Bowen, and Zack Morris give us some sound on top of some highlights.
