Tale of Two Halves for TCU Soccer as they draw to Houston; Baylor on Sunday

TCU Soccer just missed

It was a tale of two halves for the Frogs, scoring 2 class goals.  There was balance and options all over the field as the Frogs (9-4-3, 5-1-2 Big 12) took a 2-0 halftime lead on goals by Seven Castain and Gracie Brian.  Both Brian and Castain have scored 7 goals a piece on the season.  The dynamic attack was too much for the Cougars but the second half was a different story.  Houston (8-6-2, 2-5-1 Big 12) evened the score with 2 goals of their own.  From the 74th minute on, TCU would create chance after chance but sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich for the Cougars recorded a career-high nine saves, including four in the final 10 minutes of play to secure the draw.  TCU Soccer takes on Baylor at home in their final regular season home match before traveling to Austin to take on Texas in their regular season finale.

Hear from the Frogs, head coach, Eric Bell after the game right here… “I’m certain that we will respond on Sunday…”
