There’s just one more sleep before TCU baseball opens its season against Vanderbilt. The Frogs have one of the more challenging non-conference schedules in the country this season, as coach Kirk Saarloos looks to test his team early and often.
Eight of the Frogs’ first 12 opponents reached the NCAA Tournament a season ago, and three are currently ranked in the preseason top 25 by D1 Baseball.
As the Frogs roll into opening weekend, they’ve announced part of their weekend rotation too.
Kansas transfer Ryan Vanderhei will get the start on Friday afternoon, with Cam Brown taking the ball on Saturday against Arkansas. Sunday’s starter is listed as TBD, but that’s due to a “what if” scenario Saarloos is preparing for (keep reading for more details).
