FORT WORTH – Players, coaches, and staffers celebrated in the Courtside Club on Sunday afternoon, shortly after learning their fate in the NCAA Tournament.

For the second straight year TCU is going dancing, this time as a 6-seed. The Horned Frogs will head to Denver for the first round, where they’ll face the winner of one of the First Four games, Arizona State vs. Nevada on Friday night. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8:55 p.m. central time on TruTV.

Arizona State and Nevada play on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. central. That game can also be seen on TruTV.

TCU coach Jamie Dixon was a little surprised as the Frogs’ seeding, saying he expected them to be a 5-seed. That being said, he also noted the infamous 5-seed upset trend and suggested that it might not be so bad to be a 6-seed.
