FORT WORTH — You could call him “the safety formerly known as ‘Nook.’” Or, you could just call him Millard.

Senior Millard Bradford has been a staple in TCU’s secondary for the past two seasons and is primed to have an even larger impact in 2022. But, like so many things with the Horned Frogs’ program in the last year, he needed a bit of a change to get where he is.

“I felt like a lot of people really didn’t know who I was,” Bradford said. “They hear ‘Nook’ all the time and then they hear ‘Millard’ and there’s a lot of confusion, like there’s two different mes. So that’s my real name, my birth name, so I’m going with it.”
