TCU Soccer explodes for 5 goals in 5-1 obliteration of West Virginia

On a wet rainy afternoon in Morgantown, TCU Soccer did not let the conditions affect them. The Frogs obliterate West Virginia 5-1 Sunday afternoon.

With the win TCU improves to 6-3-2 on season. More importantly, they are 2-0-1 in conference play.

The five goals are the most that TCU has scored this season.

This marks the first time since 2016 that the Frogs have scored multiple goals against the Mountaineers. The five goals are the most ever scored by a TCU team against West Virginia.

In fact, the five goals allowed by the Mountaineers were the most ever allowed in a home match by West Virginia.

In the win, Seven Castain recorded her second brace of the season. Castain scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season for the Frogs, tying her for the team lead.

Not to be outdone, Gracie Brian scored her fifth goal of the season as well.

Cam Lancaster had her best performance of season on Sunday. Lancaster a goal and two assists in the win on Sunday.
