In November of 2022 TCU Soccer was getting ready for a postseason run that would see them reach the Sweet 16 for the third year in a row.
Then freshman Grace Coppinger was prepping herself as well.
Just not for her first postseason run.
It was for surgery on her ACL, an injury she sustained in the Big 12 Soccer Tournament.
“There were lots of emotions, lots of ups and downs,” Coppinger said about preparing herself for surgery. “I’m a worrier, so I was definitely worried.”
