TCU Volleyball sweeps Fight in the Fort with 3-0 win over Western Carolina

FORT WORTH – In their first home weekend of the season TCU Volleyball did not disappoint. The Frogs swept their way through the tournament ending the tournament with exclamation point sweeping Western Carolina 3-0.

With the win TCU has now won five matches in a row as they head into conference play which starts next week. That was also the Frogs 10th straight home victory, a streak dating back September 17,2022.

Melanie Parra led the way for the Frogs in the win over the Catamounts. Parra recorded another double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs, she also added three aces in the win. She now has a team leading 20 aces on the season.

“We had a couple of good performances,” coach Jason Williams said. “We were trying to play low error volleyball and make Western Carolina beat us.”
