The Horned Frogs were not able to spoil the party at the Foster Pavilion opening tonight dropping their first game of the year 71-50 to the #6 ranked Baylor Bears.  They held the Bears to 28% shooting in the first half taking a 26-22 halftime lead.  This was the first time this season that the Bears have been down at halftime.

#23 TCU (14-1, 1-1) could not slow down Baylor (13-0, 2-0) in the second half.  Baylor shot 50% from the field and 64% for 3-point range in the second half.  While the Frogs could not get going in the second half, they only shot 12% from 3 and 35% from the field.  It was a tail of 2 halves and the energy ramped up start of the second half on the court for the Bears and from the 5900 fans.

It’s an 18 game grind in this league and head coach, Mark Cambell and players, Jaden Owens and Agnes Emma-Nnopu recap the performance tonight as well as Baylor’s head coach, Nicki Collen and guard, Sarah Andrews.  You don’t want to miss this sound.  Watch here…
