Reaction from head coach, Kirk Saarloos and pitcher, Kyle Ayers after the #5 Frogs walk it off in the 11th by a score of 9-8 to remain undefeated at 10-0.
Sam Myers drove in Chase Brunson for the game-winning run. Brunson sliding into the plate beating the throw, won it for the Frogs in their second game in the past 3 games won in extra innings.
Myers went 3 for 5 driving in 3 runs, scoring 2 himself. Brunson and Ryder Robinson also, both went 3 for 5 on the day. Robinson had 2 RBIs and Brunson had 1.
The Frogs led 6-5 in the top of the 9th and USC was able to even the game and then take a 8-6 lead. TCU answered the bell in the bottom of the 9th to take it to another extra inning game. With the score 8-8, the game continued into the 10th.
The Kubota College Baseball Classic continues tomorrow for the Frogs as they take on Arizona State at 6pm and then a USC re-match on Sunday at 3pm. All games are at Globe Life Field.
