As expected and predicted over a week ago from Frogs Today, 2023 Red Oak safety Warren Roberson signed his National Letter of Intent Tuesday with Texas.
The four-star player initially committed to TCU on Halloween, but surprised a lot of people by not signing during the December early signing period.
During that time and throughout the bulk of January, Roberson still stayed verbally “committed” to TCU. However his visits to both USC and Texas created a rumor mill that his commitment was not, in fact, ironclad.
In years past, this could have been devastating to a TCU recruiting class or at the very least drastically dropped the national recruiting rankings for the Frogs.
