Two of the bright, young stars for the TCU Women’s golf team filled us in on the weekend at Pebble Beach, what to look forward to, and what playing in the most prestigious regular season women’s college golf tournament to start the season will do for them and their team.
The team finished in 6th place with Sofia Barroso Sa and Kirstin Angosta notching par scores on the final day with Meagan Winans placing 9th overall
Sophomore, Angosta, 8 stroke improvement on the final day to par round 3, looks forward to what this team is capable of doing this year.
Freshman, Gracie McGovern made a big move on Day 2 and loves being with this team and reflected on the challenge of one of the toughest golf courses in the world at Pebble Beach and her take aways from the tournament.
