A comeback in the semi-final the ITA Regionals pushes transfer, Tomi Main and partner, Yu-Chin Tsai into the final and a chance to qualify for nationals.
Second seeded, Main and Tsai dropped the first set against Texas Tech 6-4 and persevered back into the match with a 7-6 (8-6) tie break win in the second set to set up a win or go home, match tie breaker.
Going down early in the match tie breaker, 7-4, Main and Tsai evened the third at 7 and it was back and forth from that point, eventually taking the tie breaker, 11-9 and into the championship match today at 10am.
